What is a police clearance certificate ?
A police clearance certificate is a certificate stating whether any criminal offences are recorded against the applicant. It is most often required for people who need confirmation of their criminal status for emigration purposes or for working abroad or locally.
How Long does it take?
The SAPS's Criminal Record Centre in Pretoria request 14 working days to issue a police clearance certificate, however they are currently experiencing a backlog resulting in a wait of between 3 and 6 months
You don't have to wait that long!
We are able to obtain your police clearance certificates in 2 to 3 weeks!
What documents do I need?
All we need from you is a copy of your Identity book and a set of finger prints which can be taken at the police station for only R 105. If you are abroad you can do it at the local Police station, however if they do not offer ink prints but only electronic prints you will need to get your finger prints taken at the South African Embassy.
